Lend Your Support To The Making A Difference Grant Program
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, the Urbandale Education Foundation (UEF) will partner with organizations in over 100 countries who serve to better the lives of all they touch. This year, we’d like to request your support for the UEF Making A Difference Grant program which provides Urbandale CSD educators the opportunity to receive funds for projects and initiatives not supported within existing school budgets. Last month, the UEF was able to award 11 grants totaling over $12,000 to teachers with innovative projects and initiatives to help bring learning to life for their students.
We welcome your support and thank you for helping to ensure the grant program continues making a positive difference in our schools. You’re welcome to make an online donation or complete and mail in a contribution form.

Join the Urbandale Dollars for Scholars Committee
Urbandale Dollars for Scholars® (UDFS) is part of a nationwide network of community-based scholarship chapters. As the oldest Dollars for Scholars chapter in the State of Iowa, UDFS’ mission is to mobilize the Urbandale community on behalf of postsecondary education success for Urbandale High School students. UDFS is an active volunteer committee under the Urbandale Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on enhancing opportunities for students and educators in the Urbandale Community School District.
With costs for higher education continuing to increase, building the financial support for the UDFS program is critical to assisting a large number of Urbandale High School students and their families. If you are passionate about helping Urbandale graduates get off to a great start as they head into the next chapter of their lives, the UDFS wants to hear from you! No prior committee experience necessary and the time commitment is both minimal and flexible to work within your schedule. To learn more, please contact Randy Prati, UDFS Co-Chair and UEF Vice President, email@example.com or 515-321-8941.
